Hey guys!! Time is flying! Haha.. It's going by really
fast. I am sorry you guys had the flu I hope everyone is better. That's cool
that dad got called to that calling (Mom insert: Dennis was called as the gospel doctrine teacher). So I will answer your questions first.
1. When
are transfers? When does your companion go home? Are you nervous about this? Transfers
are on the 16th of this month. I am not nervous I am just getting a new
companion.. My companion is pretty trunky.. Which means he is really excited to
go home.. So it's a struggle.
2. Any
new investigators this week? No new investigators (yet)
3. How’s
Varsity doing? Varsity is doing good.. She is going to be baptized in a couple
weeks.
4. Any
interesting stories about new people you met this week? There's one story that
I will tell you in my week report.
5. How
has the weather been? Has the rain slowed down? Anymore flooding? The weather
has been amazing.. It's been really warm and sunny got up to 60. Awesome.
6. How
often do you get together with your zone? It’s seems like pretty often, but
maybe last week was an exception … We get with our zone about 2 to three times
a month. We are getting together today for p day and then Tuesday is our zone
meeting
This week was pretty normal like all the others.. Expect
Tuesday night.. One of our less active members that we have been seeing just
filed for domestic violence.. She lives with her boyfriend.. And since we have
been visiting her.. She finally noticed that she needs to get out of there..
She lives with her boyfriend and her 2 kids and her boyfriend is really crazy..
He has some anger problem.. But she talked to us about it and is going to have
the police come and take her out so the boyfriend doesn't know.. But I guess the boyfriend hates us a is
blaming us for everything.. So we had to call our stake president and told him
and we might get transferred for our safety cause the boyfriend is crazy. So we are waiting on that.. We have been
teaching clara.. We play board games with her a lot and her boyfriend Kyric.
Then We share a message after with them and teach her.. It's really cool.. We
thought bug king a less active member he hasn't been to church since his wife
died 25 years ago.. We got him to finally come to church!!!! Yay!! :) so that's
awesome.. I went on exchanges in clover dale with another elder Taylor we
visited a members home and got dinner from them. We also went and played bingo
with a lot of old people that was so much fun!! ;);) the best part of the week
was helping bother Lucas.. He is so amazing.. He has so much stories. But we
helped him tear a 150 year old roof down and remodel it. That was really cool..
Then he fed us after. We also taught Charlie Gomez and varsity. That was
awesome. So that's pretty much all I can remember right now.. Haha. I love you
guys!!
With love,
Elder Brown
