Week 67: April 17

Dear family,

Happy Easter sounds like you guys had a good week, I am jealous you went and saw the lion king that is sweet. I want to see it again.

Monday was good we had pday and just played ball at the church and visited with the other missionaries, after we went and had a lesson with a investigator which was good. We had a good dinner with a family that makes the best cookies.

Tuesday was district meeting we had president and sister wright shown up so that was cool. We went on exchanges with our district leaders I went to San Raffael with elder Harris we had a good time there, we went to a small town called fairfax it reminded me of eureka which was sweet. It was a good exchange.

Wednesday we exchanged back and had a lesson with PD our investigator it went well, after we went a costed another investigator too. We also went and had a good lesson with sandy and shared the restoration with her. We had a service project after moving a member out of there apartment 3 stories up, so big workout it was crazy.

Thursday was a lot of finding and trying to contact members so that was cool. We had a good lesson and dinner with mason and his mom.

After we went to a less active and it was super funny cause the guy tells the craziest stories ever. But yeah.

Friday was planning, Last planning of the transfer so that's crazy.

After we went to sandys and watched the Jospeh smith movie and she invited some friends so that was super cool to see. The movie was perfect for them to watch, that night we went finding right after.

Saturday we went and handed flyers out to the neighborhood about a service project we are doing for the city that took a very long time, and after we went and tried to visit some families and others as well.

We waited that night for transfers, so that was fun they came at 10 so that was super late.

Sunday was good Easter Sunday we went finding after and then we went to dinner with the smiths and had a huge dinner and they gave us huge Easter baskets with 25$ dollar gift cards to Panera a bomb place to eat. So that was super nice of them, but that was my week.

Week 66: April 10

Dear family,

Monday was pday it was fun we went to the beach, it was called rodeo beach super beautiful we were able to drive to the Golden Gate Bridge and drove past it. It was super beautiful. Sadly I wasn't able to get pictures cause we couldn't pull off to the side of the road but hopefully next week we will go again and I can get some pics of it.

But after pday we went and visited with sandy out investigator and we talked about being confirmed and how being baptized actually works. We were able to swing over to another investigator and explain then Book of Mormon to her and the restoration, she is open so that's a plus. We are seriously teaching the whole apartment complex, it's crazy.

Tuesday we had district meeting and I taught in understanding then promptings of the Holy Spirit and relying more on the spirit as we teach and get personal revelation from it. We then went to go see out investigator mason he was planned to be baptized this next week but he wasn't able to make it out to church so we will push it back just a little, after we went to go see nahvay, but there was a fight that happened while we were there with some adults so we dipped out of there and went and saw sandy again to just keep seeing her until the baptism on Saturday. After dinner we went finding and contacting.

Wednesday we had a lesson with out investigator PD went over some of the commandments with him, he is making good progress and has a baptism date for the 22nd of April. We went tracking for a while after that and ran into a really open cool guy that wants us to come by and teach him. He lived in costs rica for a long time so that's cool. But we had is one guy after curse us so that was interesting! First time I had someone try to curse us and the whole apartment complex, seems like he has only read very Anti stuff. We run into a ton of people that dont know how to speak English so that can be awkward sometimes.

Thursday we saw a couple of Investigators and we went finding that day, we had an amazing dinner that night with mason his mom made some dang good chicken pacata. We then after went and looked for and tried to contact all the investigators that we were about to drop and see if they were interested one more time. We had our DLs come and interview sandy for her baptism she passed!

Friday was weekly planning day planned for this next week the last week of the transfer, after all of our lessons canceled which was really sad cause we ended up walking pretty much everywhere.

Saturday was basketball in the morning that was fun, we had investigators show up and then after we went and got the baptism font filled up and at 2 we had sandys baptism! I was able to baptize her it was a good baptism. Sadly I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures cause her ride was super late and we had to rush, but I got some after with everyone.

Sunday was fast Sunday, church was good after we went and helped a member go home teaching, and our dinner canceled so he hooked us up with dinner so bless his soul. Cause it ain't good not having dinner on fast Sunday 👎🏿 we were able to see sandy last night and her friend was there and we were able to show him the Book of Mormon.

But yeah that was the week. I love you guys. Look up the new Easter video! #prince of peace. It's a good one.

Week 65: April 3

Hello peeps, 

This week was busy like usual, pday was on Monday was boring like usual cause no body likes to do anything. That night was good though we saw a couple people.

Tuesday we had district meeting it was pretty good, after we went on exchanges with the zoneleaders which was really fun I went with elder Angulo. I loved with him a year ago so it was really good to see him we had a lot of fun. We went to the beach and had a good lesson with one of his investigators, really fun.

We exchanged back on Wednesday, had a good day we met with our investigator sandy had a good lesson with her so that was good, she is getting baptized this Saturday at 2 pm.

Thursday was good we met with a very funny investigator that keeps dropping us and then calling is back saying she wants to meet still so that's good I guess. We had a good meeting with a less active member, and we did a lot of finding this week and contacting trying to talk to a lot of people, I would invite you to go and look at the new Easter video the church came out with! It's super good!

Friday was weekly planning had a good planning session and we stopped in by some recent converts and had good lessons with them.

Saturday we went to the burquests family to watch conference at it was hard for me to remember what they talked about cause I was trying to stay awake really badly. But a lot of the plan of salvation so that's cool. We went to the priesthood session and our investigator PD came which was awesome and a member took out to A&W, so that was good.

Sunday’s sessions were really good we had a couple investigators show up for that and the talk by elder costa was perfect for them!! But yeah that was my week, love ya!
