This week has been a crazy week!! Pday in Vacaville we met at
the church and played pingpong and just talked and said goodbye it was really
good, we said goodbye to elder pike and sister mamlfelt cause they are going home which is super sad!! But
yeah that night we had family home evening we had a little devotional thing
that we watched and we ate popcorn and after I said goodbye to some ward
members I will definitely miss them a lot.
Tuesday
was transfers we drove to Santa Rosa and met with our comps and I am the
designated driver and we have a brand new Malibu cruise! It's so boss. Nice car
haha. But we drove to our areas and we threw my
stuff in the apartment and we went shopping, we are only a 2 man apartment
which is okay haha, it's a nice apartment our apartment is full of Indian
people like so many so everynight we smell curry which is awesome cause curry
is the bomb.com.
My new comp elder sorenson is a stud he is tall and
jacked, most fit missionary our there. I call him Tarzan cause he is that boss,
and he is a ladies man... cause if I was a girl he would be that guy😜😜 if you know what I am saying 😜😂 and he has 3 older brothers and a younger sister he has 2
months left in the mission. He is from mesa Arizona, but we went directly to
finding after that and met with a former investigator and her dog is the
weirdest thing I have ever seen but we taught her a little bit about the
restoration it was good. We went finding after that Novato reminds me a lot of
ukiah it's very similar in some parts and others it's super super nice houses
and it's super pretty here. People here are a lot more receptive than any other
place I have served. But yeah we found this family from Haiti they let us in
and it was cool we asked if we could come back another time. We did a ton of
street contacting as well until dinner we had with a part member family. There
is a lot of part members here, but we contacting downtown which was good.
Wednesday we went a an old people's home and we met with our
investigator there she is a really cool old woman, she invited her friend and
we taught them the restoration and her friend said that he believes that Jospeh
smith saw Christ
and god in his vision so that was really shocking cause he is the first person
that has believed it on the first lesson haha. But after that we went finding
lots of finding. We are trying to get a new investigator a day and 20 contacts,
but we went to a family that we are teaching their are to kids who live with
there aunt and the boy we are teaching is nahvay he is 10 And we taught him
then commandments. We have a baptism for
him next week on Saturday the 18th at 1 so that will be awesome, his little
sister jordyn is the cutest girl ever I will send picks of them. But after that
we went finding and had a really good dinner at this place called Toast. 20
dollars a plate so that's insane haha but it was really good. Oh yeah I forgot
we go to crossfit every morning, the manager there lets us come for free and we
do service there, so that's a blessing cause its $200
a month so that's very generous of him to let us come for free! Gonna get
ripped!!😂😜
Thursday we went finding all day and we taught a lesson with our
investigator he is a boxer and really awesome. We taught him the restoration
and that was good he seemed really interesting. The ward here is really good
very missionary supportive and very welcoming there about 150 members at come I
guess but we weekly planning so that was good. That night we had a crazy
experience, we were contacting downtown and we met this guy who was super drunk
and he looked like he just got into a fight and we asked him if we needed
anything and he told us to come and release him of his sins and he was very
persistent that we
come right next to him and we stepped a little back cause he was definitely not
in reality, and we jumped up and said for us to save him and we asked how? And
he said to pray and release him of his sins and he
grabbed our arms and told us to pray and at this point we were ready to run
cause this guy was insane, didn't have a really nice grip, and he was acting violent kinda. We said he was from the
ogalala Lakota tribe and when he said that I got the weirdest feeling
cause that is my tribe so that's insane!! So we prayed with him and got out of
there, and when we were walking we looked back and he was gone so that was
crazy!
Saturday we went finding and had district meeting so that
was really good.
Sunday we had stake conference and a area of the seventy came
elder swchitzer come and speak to us a really awesome guy. We met with nahvay
after and met with them so that was awesome. Crazy week super busy the area is
good, I hope everything is good back in Utah love you guys.
